1. Our Refund Philosophy
At ThumbBoost, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. We believe in our product, which is why we offer a straightforward refund policy. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, we'll make it right.
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions

2.3 How to Request a Subscription Refund

- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method
3. AI Generation Credits
3.1 One-Time Credit Purchases
AI generation credits purchased separately from your subscription ($5 for 20 generations) are:
- Non-refundable once any credits are used
- Fully refundable if unused within 14 days of purchase
- Non-transferable between accounts
3.2 Included Plan Credits
AI generation credits included with your Pro subscription reset monthly and do not roll over. These credits are part of your subscription and are not separately refundable.
3.3 Failed Generations
If an AI generation fails due to a technical error on our end (not due to content policy violations), we will:
- Automatically refund the credit to your account, or
- Provide a replacement generation at no cost
Report failed generations within 7 days to [email protected].
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Self-service: Go to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription

4.2 What Happens When You Cancel
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges after cancellation
- Data retained for 30 days after subscription ends (then deleted)
- Unused AI credits from one-time purchases remain available
- Account downgraded to Free tier after billing period ends
4.3 Resubscription
If you resubscribe within 30 days of cancellation, your data and settings will be restored. After 30 days, you'll start fresh with a new account setup.
5. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
5.1 Service Outages
If ThumbBoost experiences significant downtime (more than 24 cumulative hours in a billing period), you may be eligible for:
- Prorated credit toward your next billing cycle, or
- Partial refund for the affected period
5.2 Billing Errors
If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount, charged after cancellation), contact us immediately. We will correct the error and issue a full refund of the incorrect charge within 5 business days.
5.3 Extenuating Circumstances
We understand that life happens. In cases of medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other extraordinary circumstances, please contact us. We'll do our best to accommodate your situation.
5.4 Account Termination by Us
If we terminate your account due to:
- Terms of Service violation: No refund provided
- Service discontinuation: Prorated refund for unused portion
6. Refund Processing
6.1 Processing Time
- Approval: 1-2 business days
- Processing: 5-10 business days after approval
- Bank posting: Depends on your financial institution (typically 3-5 additional days)
6.2 Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot process refunds to different payment methods or accounts.
6.3 Currency
Refunds are issued in US dollars. If you paid in another currency, the refund amount may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations. We are not responsible for any exchange rate differences.
7. Free Tier
The Free tier is provided at no cost and therefore is not subject to this Refund Policy. Free tier users may upgrade to a paid plan at any time, at which point this policy will apply.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Reply to your refund request email with additional information
- A manager will review your case within 5 business days
- If still unresolved, you may dispute the charge with your credit card company
We aim to resolve all disputes fairly and promptly. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
