Are my thumbnails private?
Yes, completely private by default. Only you can see your uploads. You can delete projects anytime — thumbnails are removed immediately. We don't use your images to train AI models or share them publicly.
What file formats are supported?
JPG and PNG files. Recommended size is 1280×720 pixels (standard YouTube thumbnail dimensions), but we'll automatically resize if needed. Max file size: 5 MB per thumbnail.
Do you integrate with YouTube Studio?
No direct integration yet. ThumbBoost is a decision tool — you upload thumbnails, compare them in realistic layouts, pick the winner, and export it. Then you upload to YouTube normally. Direct integration is on the roadmap.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, cancel in 2 clicks from your account settings. You keep full access until the end of your billing period. Your projects and export history remain available for 30 days after cancellation. No hidden fees, no questions asked.

What is Channel Style DNA?
When you connect your YouTube channel, ThumbBoost analyzes your existing thumbnails to extract your visual identity — dominant colors, text styles, composition patterns, and overall aesthetic. This "Style DNA" profile ensures every AI-generated thumbnail feels like it belongs on your channel.
Can I paste a YouTube link instead of describing my video?
Yes, paste any YouTube URL and the AI automatically extracts the title, description, and tags to generate thumbnails matched to your video's content and niche.
What is the face reference library?
Upload reference photos of yourself or recurring people. The AI maintains face identity across all generated thumbnails, so your face looks consistent every time.

Visual clarity (how quickly the eye grasps the scene), emotional impact (strength of the emotional hook), text readability (legibility at feed size), composition (layout balance and focal points), color usage (contrast, palette, and feed standout), curiosity gap (how much it makes viewers want to click), mobile-friendliness (readability on small screens), and brand consistency (match with your channel style).
Does scoring work for any YouTube niche?
Yes. Scoring is niche-relative — the AI adjusts factor weights based on your content category. For example, emotional impact matters more for vlogs, while visual clarity matters more for tutorials.
How can I improve a low score?
Hit "Improve in Generator" and ThumbBoost passes the scoring feedback directly into the AI chat, which regenerates a better version addressing the specific weaknesses.
